The retrospective report goes over the plans established and work accomplished by Circular Flanders in its Kick-off Statement, and finds that much more was achieved by the initiative than was initially expected. The document reviews and reflects on the lessons learned during the 2017-2019 period, and takes the opportunity to analyse best practises going forward. The three pillars of action the Kick-off Statement focused on (and that the retrospective reviews) are circular procurement, circular business and the circular city, as well as increasing collaboration and engagement in the community through public activities such as workshops. The retrospective takes note of the many successful initiatives that were spurred by the Kick-Off.
