Ethiopia has created a Climate Resilience Strategy for the nation's agriculture and forestry sectors since these two sectors combined account for 43% of the GDP, produces nine of the ten largest export commodities and employs around 80% of citizens, yet, these two sectors are likely to be heavily affected by future problems caused by climate change. In order to protect their citizens and environment, the Ethiopian government has created a strategy to build resilience, where 41 key flexible actions were identified and the implementation has already started.
