Published in 2016, Algeria's National Action Plan on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP-NAP) has identified 42 concrete actions in three priority areas, which are: to integrate sustainable consumption and production patterns into national policies and plans, to ensure energy transition through the promotion of energy efficiency and development of renewable energies and to develop a zero-waste economy by 2030.
