Hiut Denim will be the first jean company in the world to have a History Tag.
Each jean will come with a unique number which can be registered online.
Customers can upload pictures of where they went, what they did, who they did
it with to the HistoryTag website. If in the future, the jeans get handed
down, or end up in a second hand jeans shop, their memories will go along with
them. The concept is meant to make products last by giving them more meaning
and attaching the stories to objects.



Jeans with a history

The 'Breakers Club' employs locals to wear HUIT raw denim for 6 months in
order to break in the denim. HUIT then collects the denim, professionally
cleans and sells them again. 'Breakers' can buy the denim with a 20% discount.
The brand offers a free repair service for life and promotes to wash the jeans
only every 6 months.
