<p>Notpla was founded in 2014 by then university students Rodrigo Garcia Gonzalez and Pierre Paslier in London. Based on biomimicry observations of fruit peel, Notpla developed the idea of&nbsp;packaging drinks in edible packaging. Their first product was the Ooho,&nbsp;an edible liquid sachet made from seaweed. Notpla has since added a number of new products including Notpla coated takeaway containers.&nbsp;All Notpla products are readily biodegradable in the soil or ocean.</p>
