Relevance
EOL products often end up in facilities that have little knowledge about the products they are dismantling. Therefore, it is required a certain level of knowledge about components and materials to assess whether a component is functional (and can be refurbished) or needs to be dismantled in smaller parts that can be downcycled/recycled.
