The objective of the Integrated Urban Solid Waste Management Strategy in Mozambique is the improvement of waste management and sanitation in favor of well-being of citizens and fighting poverty by preventing the proliferation and improving collection, transportation and final deposition of waste. It advocates for interventions such as waste prevention and reuse, recycling and composting.
