The overall objective of SWITCH Africa Green is to support 6 countries in Africa to achieve sustainable development by engaging in transition towards an inclusive circular and green economy. The countries that are part of the United Nation's program are Uganda, Kenya, Mauritius, South Africa, Ghana, and Burkina Faso. The plans for each country are all related to either one of the priority sectors for sustainable improvement: manufacturing, integrated waste management, tourism, and agriculture. The project has already achieved great support for the private sector through investment strategies and projects.
