Key elements of the circular economy

Transitioning to a circular economy may often not happen in businesses because entrepreneurs find the task daunting, are scared of the risks, or simply lack the know-how. This is why the Dutch government-supported organisation ClickNL has created the CIRCO program, a training program that offers businesses classes to connect them to circular methods. CIRCO works with three-day courses that teach circular principles and strategies to entrepreneurs. They have generally been rated highly, and two thirds of CIRCO attendants have started specific circularity projects. The program aims to have trained 4'000 people by 2023.
