Globetrotter is specialized in outdoor and gear products. With their campaign "Mission: Gruene Horizonte", the brand launched their own Symbol called "Eine Gruenere Wahl", which marks products that are particularly sustainable through one or more of the following characteristics: long lifecycles, made of recycled materials, made of natural materials in eco-quality, recyclable, energy efficient or locally produced.
Part of the campaign is the collaboration with I:CO, promoting to re-use or recycle post-consumer textiles and shoes for a 10% discount in return. Also part of the initiative is the collaboration with Fibertec, who organizes pop-up stands at Globetrotter stores to offer services that extend the life-cycle of Globetrotter products in-use. At the same time, Globetrotters brand portfolio includes brands, which offer repair or maintenance services.
