The Edmonton Reuse Centre accepts a huge variety of items which it makes available to organisations and individuals for them to use. Rather than the more typical reuse items such as electrical equipment and furniture, the Centre accepts arts & craft supplies, office & school supplies, needle craft supplies, paper products and plastic items (such as milk crates, margarine containers, six-pack rings and yoghurt containers). In addition to collecting and distributing items for reuse, also offers reuse workshops. These workshops offer a great opportunity for members of the community to ‘learn through doing’ and gain an understanding on how to reduce everyday waste through reusing, upcycling and DIY ideas.
