H&M maintains several strategies to avoid post-consumer waste. Collaborating with I:CO the brand takes back post-consumer garments that are returned to collection points at their stores. Some items at H&M are already partly made of post-consumer recycled fibers. Furthermore, the brand educates its consumers, on how to repair, recycle or upcycle garments.
