This is a ban on the importation, manufacture, sale or supply of plastic bags, with 11 Types of plastic bags for essential uses and hygienic and sanitary purposes exempted (for example roll-on bag for meat products, waste disposal bags, bags as integral part of packaging, bags manufactured for export; exception for biodegradable plastic bags or compostable plastic bags which conform to the appropriate standard).
