The Gilroy Unified School District had the opportunitty of getting one school bus remodeled so the engine works with electricity and not gas. This way they are contribuating to the enviorment and the school budget. They also recived a solar array to supply this the bus with electricity. The project was organized by nonprofit organization Breathe California. The funder for the project was The Health Trust.

The problem is that all schools do not have the funding to finace the complete change to electricity powered busses.

The solution is to organize funding from organizations and government to finance this change.

This would make a huge impact on the enviorment for the better and but contribute to the abuse of gas consumption.
